The North Carolina Association on Aging holds its Annual State Aging Training Conference, on Tuesday, February 25 – Wednesday, February 26 at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC.

The NCAOA Annual Training Conference is an excellent opportunity to network with a concentrated yet diverse number of aging professionals. The NCAOA Training Conference is the only statewide aging conference in North Carolina. NCAOA Conference General Session Speakers

Stephen Petrow is an award-winning journalist and book author,  best known for his Washington Post and New York Times essays on aging, health, and civility. Steven’s 2019 TED Talk, “3 Ways to Practice Civility” has been viewed nearly two million times and translated into 16 languages.

Paul Greenwood is a former Elder Abuse Career Prosecutor, Deputy District Attorney in San Diego, and is now owner of Greenwood Law Corporation. He is currently a criminal justice at large board member of the National Adult Protective Services Association and has testified before the US Senate Committee on Aging.
